I have moved. I am now an Assistant Professor at LUMS, Pakistan.

I was a Post-doctoral Research Scholar at the International Computer Science Institute, Berkeley in 2017. Prior to that, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in Dec 2016, advised by Vern Paxson. My research interests are in:

{Network Security, Privacy, Internet Measurement}

For my dissertation, I worked closely with the operational security team at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL), using data collected at the lab network to study the problem of credential compromise. I have also worked on measuring censorship, mining identifiers from network traffic, and the underground economy.

At heart, I am a data enthusiast, and enjoy the art of mining large-scale datasets to uncover interesting information that can both (i) enhance our understanding of the state of Internet, and (ii) lead to better defenses against Internet threats.

You can read more about my work in my publications.
