The International Computer Science Institute is pleased to offer its technical reports and other packages of interest via electronic mail. To fetch a file, first get the index of all files with an email message containing the single line: get index Select the file you wish from that index, then request it by sending an electronic mail message with the single line: get file Where file is the pathname of the file is as shown in the index. For example: get techreports/INDEX Mail your requests to: ftpmail@icsi.berkeley.edu. If you have any problems or questions, please address them to ftpmail-request@icsi.berkeley.edu Multiple requests may be sent, but beware loading down your UUCP mail links. Only one file should be specified per line. e.g. send index send help The ``send'' command is a synonym for ``get''. Only those two commands are available at this time. Large files, those over 32k in size will be split into multiple mailings. Error messages are sent in separate mail from files requested. Only one file is sent per reply mailing. Wildcard characters, and shell meta-characters are illegal. All paths must be relative, and none may contain ../ within them. Sites that abuse this facility will be barred from access without further notice.
