NAME

     iaconfig - Interphase S/ATM 4615 adapter configuration tool

SYNOPSIS

     /bin/iaconfig [ -f filename ] [ -d device name ]

AVAILABILITY

     This command is available from  the  Interphase  S/ATM  4615
     software  distribution.   It  is  part of the evaluation PVC
     driver interface which supports IP over ATM  PVCs  and  uses
     RFC1483 IP LLC/SNAP encapsulation.

DESCRIPTION

     iaconfig provides a mechanism for reconfiguring tunable ele-
     ments  of  the  4615  ATM interface. Currently the only sup-
     ported option is the reconfiguration of the VPI  value  used
     by all the 4615s in the system.

OPTIONS

     -f filename
          defines a configuration file other than the default.

     -d device
          defines an alternate character device special filename.

NOTES

     Because this function configures the  4615  hardware  inter-
     face, it must be run as root.  This command is only required
     if the configuration needs to be changed from the  defaults.
     It  may  be run at any time, but any active transactions may
     be affected.
