The FrameNet Project is holding a workshop for developers of NLP applications, researchers in linguistic semantics, and lexicographers. Sponsored in part by the National Science Foundation, the workshop includes lectures and demonstrations on Frame Semantics and FrameNet, as well as the ICSI metaphor project, MetaNet. You will have the opportunity for hands-on practice to develop your NLP application using FrameNet data with a new FrameNet library for NLTK, or to develop frames and annotate data using FrameNet methodology and practices.
