Introduction to Sather for the C++ Literate (zipped postscript, inlined gifs)
Satish Thatte

This does not purport to be a complete tutorial. Many intersting features of the language are not mentioned here. For instance, the only example of a user defined iter is a very simple parameterless one, exception handling is not properly covered, features as pre- and post-conditions, invariants, bound routines, and so on, are never mentioned. The purpose of this note is to help people famimilar with C++ to understand the realization of the basic object oriented concepts in Sather, rather than to highlight the unususal aspects. Please send comments, corrections, and suggestions for improvement to satish@sun.mcs.clarkson.edu.
