Abbas Razaghpanah

Abbas Razaghpanah is a research scientist at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI). His work mainly focuses on using network measurements to study privacy and security on the Internet. Before joining ICSI as a research scientist and during his time as a PhD student at Stony Brook University, Abbas completed three internships as a research intern at ICSI as the lead student on the Haystack Project and the Lumen app. Abbas received runner up award in the ACM Research Competition for his work on detecting traffic differentiation and Open Technology Fund Information Controls Fellowship to perform information controls measurement research at the Citizen Lab at University of Toronto. His work on studying TLS won the distinguished paper award at ACM IMC in 2018.
